If it's true... El Lamo Maximo.
Not completely true. Those things do play a part but in no way does it justify a price jump from $60 USD to $110AUD (88USD) in Australia (using a 1USD = 0.80AUD exchange rate, currently it's 1USD = 1AUD). The retailers are just ripping us off.
As for the cars, Australia has heavy taxes on imported cars so that localy manufactured cars can compete, which is why they're more expensive.
That's in AUD and USD. Plus, you have to take in to account the PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) which is an indicator for what a dollar amount can buy in the respective country. When you look at it after it's modified its;
Australia $44k
USA $50k
Up until a week ago I thought AC:B was some kind of multiplayer expansion of AC II. But all the trailers I've seen lately have got me pretty hyped for it.
Who the hell can disagree with that? It's fact.
I thought the Prince of Persia movie was a pretty good interpretation of the games. Obviously there's going to be some major differences, no one wants to watch a movie of a guy running around a castle solving puzzles with hardly any dialouge. I think they did a good job of taking some of the main story points for the game and adapting to make it work for a movie.
Naaa they'll get spotted quick and put down.
I really enjoyed the campaign. Compared to the last few cod campaigns it wasn't over dramatised... and there wern't even any russians. It was definitely on the short side though, but I think it works for the story. I think if you try to stretch a story like that out over 12+ hours it looses some credibility and becomes unrealistic, but it does depend on the game. What would have been good would have been a second campaign.
Multiplayer's good. I like the 'rus...
Australia does too. We mostly say soccer, if you say football you're going to have to clarify yourself around here. Mostly cause we already have 3 other kinds of football... so it gets confusing. I never understood why people get so up tight about calling "football" soccer?
Does it really matter? In the end it's just a name. If we know they're the taliban then that's what they are. If other people feel better by calling them something different, then what difference does it make to us gamers.
Well I'm certainly glad they're having these problems now and not on the release date. I've like the hour or so I've played so far... but yeah, the disconnects really are a pain.
*Fun fact - If you run MoH as an administrator the latency shows up in the server list otherwise it won't.
Also... If you play dominantly (generally hitting the ball with some force) he doesn't get a chance to put spin on the ball which can be a pain to return.
I didn't find him too hard. You just need to be patient. The only thing that shat me was his weak little short serves.
I've had this problem, no matter what you do it won't calibrate. All I do is turn the contoller of and then back on, works every time.
It was created for consoles (BBC1) so it can't look that bad. I couldn't tell the difference anyway... It'd be like spotting the difference between a bird and a duck for me. (yes, I know a duck is a bird if anyone felt like pointing it out)
Why? Are you anti-gaming?
Gamers support gaming.
Why not be able to buy PSP games on DVD/CD/USB and install it via your PC? It'd mean you'd still have a physical back-up without the need to carry 10 games around with you.
^^^nothing to contribute. XD
Just no.
Unless you're looking for the graphical differences, you don't even notice them. I'd prefer exclusive content any day.
